PPFC Style of Play
One of the beauties of soccer is the freedom to play in varying styles. At PPFC, we aspire to an exciting, aesthetically pleasing game with a dynamic, attack-oriented approach. We also promote flexibility, creativity, and adaptability, equipping players to adjust seamlessly to varying circumstances on the field.
PPFC Gameplay
On every young player’s soccer journey, gameplay is the key to learning. At PPFC, your player will engage in a high volume of competitions, in addition to regular league games. These include game-like simulations such as scrimmages, small-sided games, and soccer variants with competitive elements.
* While promoting frequent gameplay, we also prioritize the health and well-being of your player. We acknowledge the importance of adequate recovery and regeneration time.
Your young PPFC player will enjoy nearly equal playing time with teammates. By restricting team roster size, we strategically enhance opportunities for all players and foster an inclusive environment.
* While promoting equal playing time for younger players, we leave the allocation of playing time within each game to the coach's discretion, dependent on the specific goals of the match.
As your PPFC player gets older, we instill the concept of earning a position – a practice that mirrors expectations at the high school, collegiate, and professional levels. Playing time may fluctuate from game to game, but with accurate positional placement, we strive to achieve equal playing time over the season.
The guest playing process for PPFC players is limited to potential partnerships with other trusted clubs. We take pride in our investment in your player and will avoid compromising their development with competing soccer philosophies.
We will proactively facilitate guest playing with another club in the rare instance it will benefit a PPFC player’s college recruitment or career advancement. However, guest playing must not compete with regularly scheduled team games and tournaments.
