My son is a talented goalkeeper. He thrives in competition and understands the unique pressures of his position. But when we joined this club in the fall of 2023, he was struggling emotionally when getting scored on. I could only offer so much advice. One day after a scrimmage in a training session, I saw Ramo call my son over and put a hand on his shoulder, speaking encouragement. My son had tears in his eyes.
